Your trip with Chef Daniela del Balzo begins with a hunt for the freshest ingredients in the “Testaccio,” a historical Roman neighborhood known for its open-air market and shops. You’ll then prepare and enjoy dishes such as pasta e fagioli, caponata or parmigiana di melanzane, paired with the very best local wines. Finish your meal with a delightful dessert such as homemade fruit marmalade pie. Classes are held in an enchanting residence in the heart of Rome, and include detailed recipes of all the dishes you've prepared during the lesson.

Mamma Agata's state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen is where she conducts this 3.5-hour demonstration class, which may include such specialties as pasta, pizza, chicken, veal, seafood and more. After your preparations you will lunch on a terrace facing the Mediterranean Sea, while enjoying the beautiful vistas of the Amalfi Coast.
Mamma Agata began her cooking school in 1997 and has been the personal chef for some very famous people including Jacqueline Kennedy, Anita Eckberg, Marcello Mastroianni and more!

The class focuses on the freshest, in-season ingredients available and is a full-on immersion into Tuscan, Mediterranean, vegetarian or macrobiotic cooking. Lunch or dinner includes an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish and dessert.
